Eaton’s Controls & Protection Division is currently seeking a Lead Financial Analyst, Planning & Analytics to join our team. This position is based at our division headquarters in Moon Township, PA. This role offers a hybrid work schedule (3 days in the office/2 days remote). Also, relocation from within the US can be provided. Position Overview: This position serves as a financial and business partner for the Controls & Protection Division leadership team and assists FP&A Manager with daily and monthly responsibilities relating to financial reporting. Specific functions include forecasting, month end closing, reviewing journal entries, analyzing posting detail, financial reporting, department budgeting, administration of cost out process, capital project reporting and fixed asset tracking. In this function you will: Lead monthly consolidation for 3 divisions financial closing and forecast cycle including collection, assembly, and analysis of data from various locations. Prepare both actual and forecast commentaries. Serve as back-up to FP&A Mgr leading core meetings. Analyze forecast and plan variances and evaluate their effect on planned objectives. Compare operational data and financial reports to prior periods, forecasts, and objectives, and provide explanations to management. Partner with operations in implementing, monitoring, and evaluating productivity and cost out improvement programs. Perform monthly analysis of balance sheet accounts, including review of balances for accuracy and advice to management of potential issues. Maintain a strong working knowledge of Eaton financial policies and systems. Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business and/or Finance from an accredited university 3 years of accounting and/or finance experience Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future. Preferred qualifications: Master’s degree in Accounting, Business and/or Finance from an accredited institution CPA and/or CMA Manufacturing experience Position Criteria: Strong understanding of accounting policies and procedures relating to financial planning Strong analytical and communication skills We are committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities for all job applicants and employees.
