As Lead Hadoop Engineer you will:

• Design, develop, validate, and debug Hadoop on-prem, CDP Cloudera (Hybrid) ecosystems to support current platform and projects.
• Migration to Azure cloud roadmap and technical guidance.
• Hand on debug complex Hadoop and azure pipelines/jobs and performance issues and tuning.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computing Engineering, Information Systems, or any related field OR equivalent experience of 4 years, in addition to:
• 4+ years of relevant industry experience.
• 3+ years of experience in Hadoop ecosystem.
• 1+ years of experience in Bash Scripting and Python.
• Advanced English level.

Intel's Information Technology Group (IT) designs, deploys and supports the information technology architecture and hardware/software applications for Intel. This includes the LAN, WAN, telephony, data centers, client PCs, backup and restore, and enterprise applications. IT is also responsible for e-Commerce development, data hosting and delivery of Web content and services.

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
