Eaton’s Power Components Division is seeking a Lead Industrialization Engineer to join our team! This role will be based in Moon Township, PA. Relocation assistance from within the United States is offered as well as a hybrid work schedule. Position Overview: We are seeking an innovative problem-solver with a strong electronic product manufacturing and engineering background to lead industrialization activities for our Meters, Relays and Digital Solutions, product lines. You will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic global team to develop, launch, and improve industry-changing electronic products and solutions. You will also lead the process development activities for new product introduction projects and experience the excitement of bringing new products to life from design concept through to production launch. It’s where bold, bright professionals like you can reach your full potential—and where you can help us reach ours Essential Functions: Work with electronic suppliers and development partners in the management of outside design & manufacturing activities. Work with product management, design team, suppliers and others to establish industrialization plans and activities. Coordinate the development and procurement of prototype and production tooling, fixtures, & equipment. Lead prototype builds, develop pilot production plans and associated processes. Drive production readiness, including production validation and issue resolution. Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited institution is required. Three (3)+ years of Engineering experience or manufacturing of electronics products Must be authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or within the future Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of electronic product development, testing circuits Experience with Product Lifecycle Management Experience with industrializing products with international-based contract manufacturer Experience in new product development and industrialization. Experience with production tooling and assembly/test fixture development. Working knowledge of basic quality tools, such as, capability studies and gage R&Rs Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing experience Position Criteria: Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities, with the ability to switch focus as priorities change. Ability to coordinate activities with other functional areas, suppliers, contractors and consultants.
