Job Description
The Lead Analyst, Materials will support the global team in driving key materials initiatives to achieve target inventory (DOH) and programs geared towards improving divisional supply chain efficiencies. Additionally, the role will be heavily reliant on providing necessary analysis, data and reporting to support division inventory forecasting and other SIOP efforts. The role will support the sites in meeting or exceeding our key operational objectives: customer OTD, inventory reduction / DOH, freight % of sales, flex productivity and cost-out. This role reports to the Global Materials Manager, Filtration and is located in Chanhassen, MN. In this role, you will be expected to: Develop, lead, and coordinate targeted continuous improvement (CI) initiatives with local materials leaders, including (but not limited to): inventory modeling, plan for every part (PFEP), integrated value stream production / line scheduling, inventory segmentation (ABCQ), and analytical tool development to support improved order fulfillment processes Play a leading role in driving improvements in division inventory quality. Examples include supporting quarterly E&O MRB review process by supplying analytical support, working to coordinate root cause analysis and disposition / corrective action plans together with local teams, leading and facilitating projects focused on improving and optimizing the division global inventory model in line with both customer and business requirements Facilitate deployment and improvement of the Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning (SIOP) process across the Filtration Division Enable improved transportation and warehousing efficiencies across the Division; optimize stock placement in support of DOH and responsiveness goals, and improve efficiency of end-to-end total landed costs Collaborate with Eaton Supply Chain Shared Service Center (SSC) for analytics and fulfillment of key raw material Collaborate with Filtration sites to enact countermeasures to respond to supply issues and take actions required to maintain business continuity Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: Bachelor's degree accredited institution Minimum 3 (three) years of work experience in materials or supply chain functions e.g., planning, purchasing, SIOP within in a manufacturing facility No relocation is offered for this position. All candidates must currently reside within 50 miles of Chanhassen, MN to be considered. Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future Preferred qualifications: Master's Degree in Supply Chain Management or MBA 5 (five)years of work experience in materials or supply chain functions Prior experience in leading / facilitating supply chain improvement projects across multiple facilities with results APICS, Six Sigma Greenbelt or other additional lean certification Spanish and/or German language skills We are committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities for all job applicants and employees.
