Eaton’s Electrical Sector, Critical Power & Digital Infrastructure (CPDI) is currently seeking a Lead Product Engineer to join our team. This position is based at our Raleigh, NC Facility. Relocation will be provided if needed (US Only) Position Overview: Eaton's CPDI is looking for a for a Lead Product Engineer to support our three phase UPS products. This position is responsible for serving as the technical expert fo any product above 200kVA. Making what matters work at Eaton takes the passion of every employee around the world. In this function you will: Serve as the technical resource for pre and post sales to support specific customer applications, technical understanding by Sales, Product Management, and other engineering functions through VOC for new product development. Serve as a top resource supporting service post sales issues. Thereby driving continuous product improvement. Understand and take ownership of complex product problems and drives them to closure and product repair. Understand three phase electronic power systems and the installation/use thereof. Coordinate with various groups within the organization to meet goals and responsibilities. When we embrace the different ideas, perspectives and backgrounds that make each of us unique, we — as individuals and as a company — are stronger Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution Minimum 3 years of relevant electrical engineering experience Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of the work location will be considered. Relocation will be provided if needed (US Only) Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation. Preferred qualifications: Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution Pspice or other circuit analysis program Operation and programming of HIL Position Criteria. Ability to read and understand electrical schematics, understand installation, and operation manuals Ability to communicate upward and downward within the organization using clear and concise language. Think out of the box with processes and designs for three phase electronic power systems.
