How will you make an impact?

Under the supervision of the Quality Control Supervisor, the Lead QC Technician will be responsible for ensuring that lab throughput meets business demand by effectively planning resources and equipment capacity in the Incoming Raw Material Lab. This individual will be required to perform testing on raw materials and must be able to provide technical expertise to aid in decisions on raw material release.

We are seeking a self- motivated individual with strong communication, leadership, and operational skills to lead the team's daily activities of testing, data entry/review, and release of materials for production. This position is Monday-Friday 2nd shift (2:30pm-11pm).

What will you do?
In this role you may complete some or all of the following duties:

• Perform assay testing on raw materials while adhering to cGLP's, cGMP's, SOP's and all safety regulations as they apply to the laboratory.
• Develop and maintain a flexible work schedule such that fast-changing manufacturing priorities can be accommodated with a minimum of disruption.
• Develop and train new employees
• Effectively lead and motivate a team
• Represent the raw material lab on cross-departmental teams as needed
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and be detail oriented.

How will you get here?

Education:
Minimum of B.S. Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry or related science.

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of related laboratory experience
• Experience (2+ years) in MS Excel, Word and Outlook
• Experience with LIMs, E1, and Trackwise preferred
