Job Description
Shareholder Services - S4 Supports professional and management staff by providing large and often complex quantities of data related to, among others, financial transactions, account information and transaction processing to be used in responses to the most complicated client inquiries on a daily basis. Responds to ad hoc requests for non-standard information. Processes highly complex updates to shareholder accounts. Serves as an escalation point for and directs the work of more junior team members. Assists professional and management staff for complex matters by responding to phone, email and other inquiries regarding fund information, services and procedures. Responds to questions about shareholder accounts and provides more advanced technical assistance. Responses are fast, efficient and accurate. Addresses issues that have been escalated by junior team members and ensures their responses to shareholders meet set standards. Researches and resolves complex operational or shareholder issues. Routes issues that cannot be addressed at point of contact to appropriate team, in accordance with documented procedures. Provides status updates on problem resolution and outstanding issues to professional and management teams on a regular basis. Assists with process improvement by identifying areas for improvement and helping develop solutions to improve team efficiency. No direct reports. Provides guidance to less experienced staff. Responsible for the quality and completion of own work and may review work of team members. Contributes to the achievement of the team objectives. Qualifications High school/secondary school or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Bachelors degree preferred. 3-5 years of total work experience preferred.
