Job Description
We have a great opportunity to join us a Siemens mobility Rail infrastructure as a Lead resourcer. This role is a is full-time permanent role based at our Swanley site. About your role As the Lead resource you will be responsible for the resourcing and coordinating of all business contractor requirements covering professional, technical and contingent labour services for all global project requirements and reporting thereof. You will act as a deputy to the Resourcing and Office Manager and take on the responsibilities of this role from time to time. What are my responsibilities? Lead the sourcing and confirmation of candidates to support all project resource requirements for midweek, weekend and commissioning’s via agreed Frameworks / PSL. Maintain and update all Siemens and Client Resource documentation as requested ensuring all deadlines are met (to include but not limited to NR Bank Holiday and Commissioning diaries, SRA Monthly Resource Updates, Weekend Works, Extended Orders, Orders Raised etc) Ensure all critical resource forecasts and requirements are reported to senior team as requested. Ensure all resources sourced meet required competencies and relevant documentation is filed / issued as required. Develop and encourage positive relationships with all stakeholders and suppliers. Support members of team ensuring that they are escalating works where necessary. Deputise for the Central Resourcing Manager in times of absence Sourcing candidates to support all project requirements midweek / weekend & commissioning Liaising with TIC and Construction teams to identify and forecast project resource demand Confirming selected staff with line managers and their suppliers – checking certification, IT and inductions are in place for start date Working with projects to staff commissioning works via a staffing matrix this requires checking certification, requested hotel requirements, personal contact information etc Managing your suppliers with regular feedback and quarterly/bi-annual reviews Ensuring that the correct rate is applied to each contractor Maintain positive relations with customers, suppliers, and between key areas Checking the end dates for contractors and either extending them or marking them as a leaver Booking courses with suppliers/site and contractors for renewal of certifications Carrying out weekly/monthly audits on various Microsoft Excel spreadsheets once audit we issue these to various parts of the business Keeping check of our central shared inboxes making sure that all queries and requests are dealt with in a timely manner What do I need to qualify for this job? Essential At least 24 months previous experience of sourcing agency staff for technical, professional, and contingent labour roles within the railway environment. Ability to network internally and externally and share best practice with the wider business Ability to multitask and demonstrate a good level of organisational and communication skills Demonstrated relationship building with stakeholders and suppliers Ability to work with limited supervision Strong computing skills in MS word, excel and outlook Previous experience of working with ERP applications About us We’re Siemens.
