About Our Team
We are searching for an Advanced Secure Development & Tools Training Leader in
the Security Center of Excellence for PC and Smart Devices business (PCSD).
This is an exciting role where you will be leading advanced secure development
training and security tools training for our global development teams. You
will be working alongside some of the best security teams in the industry.
This is an opportunity to drive our initiative to educate and empower software
engineers to secure code from the start. We're looking for someone who has
industry experience in software engineering. The ideal candidate will have a
proven track record of engaging stakeholders of all levels to drive global
projects
What You'll Do
• Partner with stakeholders to identify measurable outcomes and reporting on
metrics in timely, efficient manner
• Build strong relationships with partnering teams to enable timely, efficient
information sharing via events, awareness materials, articles, etc. on an
ongoing basis
• Partner with team members to strategize and plan engaging events throughout
the year and during Cybersecurity Awareness Month events
• Act as a spokesperson for the audience, understanding and communicating
learning development needs to stakeholders and delivering the appropriate
resources and events to the group
• Improve secure PCSD Products by evaluating training tools and maturing
processes for developers, across many languages (C, C#, Java, Python, etc) and
development platforms (client, mobile, cloud)
• Be responsible for developing and leading training for security focused
individuals on teams that will act as security ambassadors within their
development group.
• Continue improvement of PCSD Developer’s advanced secure development
training program by ensuring specialized security training is targeted,
current and relevant to the individual teams.
• Plan and implement an engaging, thoughtful learning strategy to help educate
and empower our growing group of software engineers.
• Work closely with key stakeholders to better understand gaps and plan and
implement a strategy including communications, activities, events, and
training designed specifically for software engineers
#### Position Requirements:
Basic Qualifications:
• 3+ years experience planning and implementing application developer training
strategy across multiple roles, teams, and lines of businesses
• Bachelors’ degree or higher in cybersecurity, teaching or similar degree
program preferred
• 3+ years' experience leading large, complex projects and strategies
(preferably in learning & development and/or application security)
Preferred Qualifications:
.
• Multiple Industry security certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, SANS
certifications, OCSP desired.
• 7+ years of experience developing and implementing Cybersecurity training
programs for specialized teams.
• Familiarity with security and privacy frameworks, standards and regulations
like GDPR, CCPA, CSA STAR, ISO 27000series, NIST, etc.
• Familiarity with development life cycle practices such as Agile.
• Familiarity with virtualization, cloud and development technologies and
tools such as Kubernetes, Docker, Istio, Calico, CloudAware, BitBucket,
Datadog, Jfrog and Jenkins.
• Previous experience analyzing business needs and designing, developing and
evaluating communications and training; monitoring and reporting on outcomes
• Can-do attitude with strong stakeholder relationship building and problem-
solving abilities
• Experience communicating with all levels of an organization, including
technical and non-technical roles
• Self-directed, self-motivated, works independently
• Organized, able to prioritize work, able to balance multiple competing
priorities
• Keen attention to user experience (experience with user experience
methodologies or human centered design is a bonus)
• Experience working in an agile environment (preferred)
• Mandarin and English Fluency
