Manage and support the Tax Related and Financial Management, Reporting & Analysis responsibilities within the Finance team.

Manage and support the Tax Related and Financial Management, Reporting & Analysis responsibilities within the Finance team, which, amongst others, includes the following aspects:

1. Taxation related matters, including income tax, withholding tax (WHT) and Imported Services Tax (IST). (70%)

• Handle all matters pertaining to tax filling including liaison with auditors, tax agents and IRB.
• Attend to any tax audit and tax investigation matters
• Handle all matters pertaining to indirect tax including withholding tax and IST
• Prepare monthly IST submission to Custom
• Assist in transfer pricing documentation

2. Others (30%)

• Financial reporting to the Group and local management team
• Regulatory related reporting
• Other ad hoc requests and tasks that may arise from time to time

3. Experience & Qualification

• Possess at least 4 years working experience in tax related field
• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor Degree in Accountancy or professional qualification in Accounting such as ACCA/CIMA or equivalent
• Preferably a member of MIA/CPA and/or other accounting bodies
• Well versed in the areas of auditing, corporate finance and taxation

4. Skills required

• Good interpersonal skills, problem solving skills and strong sense of urgency
• Highly proficient in MS Excel
• Exposure to accounting software such as SAP will be an added advantage
• Independent, self-motivated, committed, ability to perform and deliver under pressure
