Eaton’s Corporate sector is currently seeking a Lead Tax Analyst to join our team Mississauga, Canada team. This position can be hybrid from an Eaton facility or remote within Canada. Position Overview: The Corporate Tax Lead Analyst will be responsible for the Canadian tax compliance and tax provision for the Company and its related entities. This position will provide audit support, liaise with the tax authorities and external advisors. Making what matters work at Eaton takes the passion of every employee around the world. In this role, you will: Prepare and review of all Canadian income tax filings and returns, including maintaining accurate files for all returns, notices and analysis of tax assessments by jurisdiction. Prepare and review Canadian quarterly tax provision packages, including Canadian tax account reconciliations. Prepare and review Canadian tax installments & forecast. Coordinate information gathering with local (divisional) controllers and assist with preparation of Scientific Research and Experimental Development filings. Prepare and review of documentation for all legal entities in Canada to defend Eaton’s tax positions. Provide strategic guidance to the corporate tax group with respect to the short and long-term changes to tax entities and structure within Canada. Monitor the transactions of the Canadian legal entities and verify accuracy of accounting records on a regular basis. Coach and train a new co-op student on a regular basis. Assist the senior manager with various ad-hoc projects. Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business and/or Finance from accredited institution Minimum of 3 years Canadian corporate income tax experience gained in a professional firm, multinational company. Must be legally eligible to work in Canada without company sponsorship now and in the future. No relocation provided. Preferred Qualifications: CPA designation Experience working with Canadian tax compliance processes and US GAAP financial statements Position Success Criteria: Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools Strong interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with others in a dynamic environment Ability to manage multiple priorities and responsibilities while meeting deadlines Ability to assimilate information from multiple sources, identify issues, develop and implement solutions Self-starter, able to work effectively with minimal supervision Uses data to drive decision-making Eaton has in place accessibility policies for accommodating employees with disabilities.
