Our Mobility Customer Service business seeks to hire a Lead Trainer to develop an extensive training program focusing on equipment familiarization, QMP, and various facility equipment training. The Brightline/Virgin Trains USA project currently consists of 5 Trainsets with five additional Trainsets upon opening the Vehicle Maintenance Facility in Orlando, FL. The goal for the Lead Trainer is to ensure all employees are appropriately trained on inspections and repairs and working safely. These Trainsets operate daily from West Palm Beach to Miami and, in the future, will run 125mph from Orlando to Miami 7 days a week. You will be a direct report to the Maintenance Manager and responsible for developing and implementing a training program based on CFR 243. As the first private commuter railroad in the United States of America, it is crucial to ensure quality maintenance. You will continue developing training programs in various railroad maintenance and training employees to operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and other industrial vehicles. You will also aid the Assistant Manager with Hours-of-Service training and record-keeping for all train service engineers and employees performing cab signal testing. Special qualifications include: Proven railroad experience and validated training experience. Knowledge of the Code of Federal Regulations Strong interpersonal skills and a dynamic personality needed to effectively collaborate with people at all levels within the organization, customer, and community. Knowledge of Siemens railroad equipment, specifically Charger locomotives and Siemens coaches. Knowledge of EHS, Safety, and understanding of OSHA rules Not required but recommended to have OSHA 30 certification. Requesting training certifications for both railroad/non-railroad courses.
