Job Title: Lead Translator

We are looking for a Lead Translator to join our Romanian Language Office to perform a variety of translation and review of specialist texts (with focus in marketing and IT related content).

The contract is full-time (8 hours/day, 5 days a week) and the position is fully remote.

• Responsibilities:

Translation and review of specialist texts (from the IT and Marketing sector) with CAT tools

Post-editing of machine translated texts

Reviewing translated documents

Layout check of translated documents

Quality and terminology management

Independent coordination and administration of translation projects

Close cooperation with project managers and freelance translators

Assistance with mentoring our interns or junior translators

 

• Requirements:

Romanian native speaker

Professional translator from English-Romanian in the field of IT/Marketing

Experience in Transcreation is preferential but not essential

At least 2-5 years of relevant professional experience

Degree in English/Romanian philology or equivalent

CAT & Office tools experience

A team player and enjoy working in an international environment

Organisational talent and communication skills
