Eaton manufactures 3-phase UPS devices and battery energy storage solutions for the EMEA market at our facility in Espoo. In addition to traditional UPSs we develop and manufacture energy storage and hybrid UPS solutions. The future trend for UPSs is to be a part of the grid and support usage of renewable energy.
The Lean Process Engineer will take care of the improvement, efficiency and optimization of the material flow processes in our world class manufacturing team in Espoo.
Your key deliverables :
- Give input for vision of material flow processes in future, design effective processes for material picking and material feeding to production lines
- You will be responsible for improvement of material flow processes in production
- Execute the vision by leading of implementation of new processes, hands-on together with operators
- Facilitate and lead kaizen’s with factory operators, engineers and managers
- Give ideas for automation opportunities create business cases for inner logistics automation projects
- Continuous improvements of processes
- You will be responsible for planning, documentation and communication the projects to all stakeholders
Qualifications
Are you?
Required:
- A Bachelor's / Master's Degree in Engineering
- Strong know-how about lean
- Minimum 2 years of experience in material handling and warehousing in lean factory
- Material picking/kitting operations and equipment’s
- Material call-off techniques
- Material movement from warehouse to production line
- Experience about using of ERP in lean environment (SAP knowledge preferred)
- Finnish language skill preferred, English necessary
- Ability to effectively communicate and present information; excellent interpersonal skills
