This job requisition is to seek a strong candidate to lead Lean/High Precision Maintenance site level programs across multiple factories on the New Mexico Site. The Lean Program Manager will be response for implementing LEAN initiatives that enable world class sustaining including: Kaizens, PM Boot Camps, Process Mapping, SCANDO and continuous improvement activities. In this role, you will partner across sites/departments to develop/transfer/integrate and ramp new technologies within our existing HVM (High Volume Manufacturing) systems, to include benchmarking, copying, developing, implementing and continuously improving operational standards, best-known methodologies, and multiple business processes and systems.
Responsibilities may include but not limited to:
Manage interdependencies and integration among multiple manufacturing and development teams and stakeholders to support overall execution of LEAN Objectives
Define Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and drive successful execution to meet factory objectives
Communicate program progress and issues to senior management across multiple factory areas
Develop reports, presentations and other high-level documents on a weekly to monthly basis
Upskill peers on LEAN systems to develop LEAN leaders for the factory
An ideal candidate would exhibit behavioral traits that indicate:
Experience developing organization-wide processes and procedures for various departments
Ability to influence people who may not directly report to you at all levels of the organization
Understanding and application of manufacturing methodologies and principles (manufacturing science/factory physics) and line management strategies and tactics.
Understanding and application of Quality Control systems, Model Based Problem Solving, and LEAN principles.
Ability to learn new, complex systems and leverage them to optimize factory performance.
Ability to effectively communicate ideas using written and verbal means to all levels of the organization.
Ability to partner, influence, negotiate, and drive accountability within diverse functional teams in a dynamic environment.
Ability to effectively lead a team of 5-10 team members to drive factory solutions using LEAN principles
Complete understanding of Design of Experiments with proven ability to drive and implement process changes.
Motivated self-starter with strong ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's, Master's or Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Material Science, Physics, Chemistry or related field of study.
5+ years with the following skills:
Proven track record in managing complex programs across multiple teams
Demonstrated leadership responsibilities (i.e., managing indicators, facilitating cross-organization meetings).
Hands-on Engineering Program Management experience
Ability to gather information from different teams and make proposals independently
Demonstrated technical excellence and advanced problem solving.
Demonstrated project management
Preferred Qualifications:
8+ years' experience in semiconductor manufacturing industry.
LEAN Six Sigma Green/Black belt Certification
