The learning Technology Management team is a newly established group that sits in Process Quality and Learning within Development Operations at AstraZeneca. The learning Data Analyst will be dedicated to creating and maintain a learning analytics strategy to support internal team KPIs, Business Learning Leads, and R&D leaders. This role is going to be directly involved in delivering our vision.
Job Specific General Accountabilities
Creates and implements a learning metrics/analytics solution that satisfies the needs of Business Learning Leads and R&D leaders
Pro-actively provides training metrics to dedicated Learning Technology Partners
Collaborates with HR IT on a enterprise solution to learning analytics that will benefit the needs of R&D
Establish key measures, data collection & reporting for learning activities
Assists in establishing Learning Technology Management team KPIs and reports to LTM head
Quality checks data coming from Saba into Power BI and follows up on Saba report issues and enhancement requests with HR IT
Collaborates with other data analyst across R&D to provide training metrics and improve data quality of key dashboards
Drives radical simplification and improved user experience in collaboration with system and business process owner, which will include proposed and improved design for business processes and / or creation of proper interfaces solutions
Supports audits/inspections directly or via System administrators
Leads/actively works with user groups to support and facilitate smooth business practices
Accountable for data integrity and transparency of learning metrics/analytics reports
Learning Technology Team Accountabilities
Fosters a collaborative work environment that promotes inclusion, diversity, and a speak up culture
Communicates effectively and respectfully with learning colleagues and business stakeholders
Maintains knowledge of relevant industry information affecting the learning data technology area
Leads training and demos of learning data solutions for colleagues and business stakeholders as required
Essential for the role:
Degree level education
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Experienced with providing and implementing data analysis solutions (creation of dashboards, etc)
Strong data analysis experience, identifying trends and areas of focus
Excellent Excel and Power BI skills
Skilled at managing & using technology
Proven customer service skills
Experience in pharmaceuticals or a related industry and a good understanding for business processes within area of accountability
Fluent in written and spoken English
Innovative thinker who is not afraid to think outside the box
Strong collaborative, influencing and interpersonal skills – curious to understand business environment
Excellent project management skills
Desirable for the role:
Expertise in learning technology management systems
