About the Role As a Learning & Development Courseware Developer you will Provide courseware development services to support L&D Business Partners and L&D Learning Programs Managers for assigned functional areas (Sales, Presales or Professional Services) to support the delivery of Country/Zone/Global targets. Consult, as required, on the design and development of instructor-led and e-learning content to provide an engaging and impactful adult learning experience that delivers the required return on investment to the business. Review courseware materials developed by subject matter experts for quality. Use common development tools (Articulate 360) to produce e-learning from provided materials (storyboards, ppt slides, scripts, simulations, videos etc). Build assessment quizzes and surveys to effectively assess learning. Contribute to the creation and implementation of Global learning & development strategy, approaches, processes and policies. Works under self-management, managing tasks of moderate to complex scope. Area of Responsibility Developing storyboards from PowerPoints and scripts for e-learning in conjunction with Subject Matter Experts and L&D Business Partners/Learning Programs Managers Advising on emerging instructional methods and high impact adult learning principles Checking incoming materials for quality and robustness Creates, revises and maintains e-learning using Articulate Software Process short shelf-life e-learning/recordings for publication from incoming materials Working with project team to develop SCORM compliant e-learning Creating multimedia products using a variety of software programs, to timescales and with minimal defects Manipulate and edit digital imagery, video and incorporate graphics, and effects Manipulate and edit audio Generate assessment quizzes and surveys Contribute to the project planning for major pieces of development work and provide regular progress updates against the plan Contribute to courseware development pipeline management activities Your Qualifications & Experience Previous courseware development experience ideally within the Manufacturing, Engineering, Software, or IT industries Recognized L&D qualification in relevant subject e.g. CIPD or TAP Working at Siemens Software Why us?
