About the role
The successful candidate will have responsibility for developing learning and development plan that delivers consistently across the Kerry Group for our China staffs. This will include strategic L&D needs analysis, designing L&D interventions using a variety of delivery methods and evaluation of effectiveness.
Key responsibilities
Learning:
- Collaborate with regional, local HR and Business Leaders to define Kerry best practice processes for solutions for all our L&D related activities.
- Conduct annual learning and development needs assessment.
- Ensures that training developed drives the consistent use of HR processes and systems.
- Manage team of training content developers and trainers (including internal and external resources).
- Proposes training and development programs and objectives.
- Conduct annual training and development needs assessment.
- Set up or reinforce training-related policies and procedures and ensure that they are implemented.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to identify knowledge gaps and training delivery opportunities to deliver best approach to designing training solutions.
- Pro-actively engage with business and functional management to agree training plans and ensure training content drives business objectives
- Develop and monitor spending against the departmental budget.
- Plan, organize, facilitate and orders supplies for employee development and training events.
- Train and coach managers, supervisors and others involved in employee development efforts.
- Carry out follow-up studies of all completed training to evaluate and measure results.
- Obtain and /or develop effective training materials utilizing a variety of media.
- Creation of trainings, toolkits and guidelines; creation and delivery of corporate onboarding.
- Manage relationships and maintain accreditation with Global or local agencies.
Talent & Engagement:
- Lead outcome-based strategy planning for Talent Development initiatives, meetings and events.
- Keep abreast of technological developments that enhance the end-users training experience, and assess their suitability and value for use within the Kerry group.
- Launching the Employee Engagement Survey and managing through all phases of the survey cycle including design, delivery, administration, reporting and action planning.
- Provide developmental coaching and guidance to HR colleagues supporting these efforts.
- Champion company culture. Drive employee engagement.
- Develop and maintain organizational communications such as bulletin boards and newsletters to ensure employees have knowledge of training and development events and resources.

Qualifications and skills
- 10+ years working in training function – ideally with 3+ years at a manager role.
- Qualified to degree or certificates approved by accredited training institutes.
- Confident in both written and spoken communication with the ability to present to large audiences.
- Experience in a multi-site/global environment.
- Experience developing and managing the development of training programmes (Learning/Development related a distinct advantage).
- A track record of success at developing, managing, and integrating talent solutions across various functional disciplines in partnership with other HR functional leaders.
- Strong presentation and communication skills.
- Coaching, delegation experience.
- Faculty in program management, talent engagement and retention, performance criteria and measurement, succession planning, talent reviews, and change management.
