The Job

Reporting to the Regional Director of People and Culture, the Learning & Development Manager co-ordinates and organises a range of development activities that contribute to the attainment of the Company’s clearly prescribed performance standards and Hotel Goals. The Learning & Development Manager must systematically analyse the Hotels training needs and deliver relevant learning, plan and  co-ordinate the production of Departmental Training Plans, act as an internal consultant to Heads of Departments on department related training issues,  source and recommend appropriate external training organisations or resources, maintain a current knowledge of statutory requirements and develop creative and innovative training programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate Learning & Quality Assurance programs
  • Identify training needs at individual & departmental level
  • Manage training budget & expenses
  • Prepare and produce learning calendars
  • Organize and facilitate new hires orientation program
  • Assist in ad hoc projects as assigned

Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree in any discipline, ideally with Hospitality specialization
  • At least 5 years training experience in the luxury/hospitality segment
  • Proven record in driving various KPI including guest experience scores
  • Excellent in both verbal and written English and Cantonese
