The Lenovo Learning Management System (LMS) Administrator is a key member of
the Talent Management (TM) Group in HR. This role is responsible for working
on a global team that develops and manages all aspects of the LMS, Saba. The
Talent Management team supports the lifecycle of talent at Lenovo, from
hiring, to development, to engagement. For this role, we are seeking someone
with a profound curiosity to solve problems, a customer-focused mindset, and
ideally someone who has learning and development experience.
The LMS Admin will approach the system with the mindset of total ownership.
They possess the most system knowledge. If the answer is not known, they can

#### Position Requirements:
Position Requirements
The successful candidate's responsibilities will include, but not be limited
to:
• Lead all administrative and technical aspects of the Saba LMS system,
including uploading content, creating courses & curricula, testing, assigning,
maintaining, and reporting on learning content
• Support LMS maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and complete Help Desk tickets
within required service level agreements (SLAs); drive to solution by
escalating with the vendor and Lenovo technical support; take actions, whether
technical, training or communication to prevent these issues from occurring
again
• Project manage company-wide mandatory training initiatives while working
with key stakeholders on the communication and reporting plans
• Pull and interpret monthly metrics to understand what is occurring within
the system; leverage data to better understand learner needs, drive system
utilization, and constantly improve user experience
• Actively engages with the team and maintains an awareness and understanding
of the broader TM team initiatives so they can see opportunities for alignment
and collaboration
• Perform routine audits on learning content to ensure performance and quality
assurance
• Provide consulting guidance to business groups about how to leverage system
for learning campaigns and support business requirements around employee
development
• Create, deliver, and maintain all system training and training documentation
including job aids
• Work with a variety of third-party content providers and e-learning vendors;
ensure content works on the systems and fits Lenovo’s technical requirements
• Proactively develops new skills in alignment with LMS functionality,
features, and tools; test release functionality, educate stakeholders on
functionality and determine implementation plan
• Make recommendations for future improvements to content management, workflow
processes, and user experience
• Display excellent analytical and interpersonal skills to identify issues,
evaluate problems, policies, procedures and formulate system best practices;
drive these standards through the LMS Council of super users
• Act as an intracompany brand-ambassador for our learning system

• Demonstrates excellent people skills for working with both technical staff,
executives, and end users
Education/Experience:
• 3+ years of Learning Management Systems administration experience is
required
• Experience with Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Teams is required
• Saba LMS Certification is preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Education Technology, Education Administration,
Instructional Design, or a related field is preferred
• Knowledge of design software and editing tools (e.g. Articulate, Camtasia,
Captivate) is preferred
• Some knowledge of HTML, SharePoint, JavaScript is also beneficial
Position Location:
• This role is based out of our Morrisville, NC office. Local candidates
preferred. Remote employees will be considered so long as they can be
available to work primarily in the Eastern US time zone and well as
accommodate calls in China Standard time zone.
