The learning and development team helps teachers, administrators and staff deepen their understanding of OUP’s many titles and improve their skills.

About the role
We are seeking an enthusiastic Learning and Development Consultant with excellent communication and presentation skills from the English language and teaching (ELT) field to empower the users of OUP products and services to advance and thrive.

Responsibilities include:
 Deliver professional development seminars, promotional and pedagogical talks to enhance the division’s educational profile and customer reach nationally.
 Support the development of professional development content in conjunction with the team on a range of topics and titles in order to support specific local or international campaigns, face-to-face and online.
 Continuously review and develop personal skills, revise training programs and assesses effectiveness of training staff and content.

About You
An English native-speaker with substantial experiences in EFL/ESL teaching and teacher training in China who is willing to travel extensively and work under pressure.

The successful candidate will have:
 Excellent communication and presentation skills
 A passion for learning and the people who make it happen
 A highly professional manner and excellent communication skills
 Understanding of the diverse training and educational contexts in Asia
 A desire to travel and the resilience to face consequent challenges
 The ability to work independently on projects in coordination with a distributed team
 High levels of literacy and computer/technology proficiency
 A good honours degree or equivalent in TESOL/TEFL
 A strong desire to continuously improve and develop
