#### Position Description:


For R&D Lenovo, we are hiring a Technical Leader for external projects who
will implement software solutions and guide projects team members to achieve
project goals.
Our technical leader will collaborate with partner and client teams to deliver
proof-of-concept projects and support lead implementation projects.

• Designs the overall technical architecture of the product with the help of
the team
• Guides project teams on technology strategy related to coding practices,
continuous integration, and automated deployment
• Responsible for the technical design of the product
• Mentor and coach the technical team, specifically with code reviews
• Be hands-on and engage in coding to help the team to develop his solution
and solve all surfacing problems at hand Identifies and removes technical
impediments
• Work with Product Owner to align the roadmap with strengths and
opportunities within the technical stack
• Thought partners with the Product Owner in story creation and acceptance
criteria, and communicate trade-offs effectively with Designers
• Constantly looking for better ways of solving technical problems and
designing the solution, not afraid of challenging the status quo
• Provide the team a roadmap for implementing software engineering practices
for higher code quality
• Share responsibility with Product Owner for building reusable and scalable
components

#### Position Requirements:


• Experience in Agile Development, with specific Solution Architect (or
similar) experience preferred
• Experience and ability to drive software engineering lifecycle best
practices
• Solid knowledge: C, C#, C++ Languages
• Solid knowledge: Security, Hardware programming, IP Networking, Linux
Administrator, Cryptography, Web Technologies and Android
• Experience managing technical priorities within the Backlog
• Experience: Continuous Integration (i.e., Jenkins, GitLab CI)
• Experience: Static Analyzes tool (i.e., SonarQube, Coverity or Parasoft or
Checkmark)
• Testing and Debugging
• Git and Version Control Systems
• Problem Solving Skills
• Proven track record of strong verbal/written communication & data
presentation skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both
business and technical teams across the world in English
• Seen as an expert within the technical components of Cloud and Web
Applications
• Cloud computing services and infrastructure) and experience with functional
programming (Python)
• Can make architecture decisions at a team and product level
• Be able to code and architect end-to-end solutions with multiple types or
architecture
• Familiar with production Cloud / DevOps environments
• Strong communication skills with the ability to align the organization on
complex technical decisions
• Active coach and mentor whose goals are to grow and maximize the team’s
potential
• Understand relationship with Product Owner, Scrum Master, Design Lead and
rest of technical team
• Previous experience in the role of Technical Leader
