The Department is now seeking enthusiastic, qualified and highly dedicated person to take part in a number of teaching and learning activities in artificial intelligence and big data analytics in education. The appointee is expected to teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses, supervise student projects and field experiences, and undertake administrative duties as assigned.

Applicants should have a Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science or a related discipline, plus a minimum of 4 years’ relevant post-qualification teaching experience. Applicants who have less relevant post-qualification teaching experience may be considered for the post of Lecturer II.

They should also possess a relevant professional teaching certificate, i.e., PGDE or qualification of Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) recognized by the Education Bureau of Hong Kong or other equivalent qualification. Proven evidence of quality teaching and/or a successful record of relevant professional experience at primary/secondary and/or tertiary level is required. Applicants who are creative team players with strong communication skills and excellent command of Chinese and English are preferred.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
