Job Description & Requirements
School of Economics and Trade (SET), Guangdong University of Foreign Studies began life in 1956 as the Economics Department of Guangdong Foreign Trade School. From 1997 to 2014 it served the community under the name School of International Economics and Trade. In 2014, it was officially named as School of Economics and Trade during the restructuring of the university. Since its foundation, SET has been a major institute in south China for its research and teaching on international economics and trade.

With a teaching staff of 70, including 31 professors, 19 associate professors and 20 lecturers. SET has 4 departments offering various programs in international trade, economics, finance and taxation for bachelor, master and doctoral degrees and a professional master program in international business. The school serves over 1900 full-time undergraduate and over 220 graduate students, with a considerable part of them coming from Southeastern and Central Asia, Africa, Eastern and Middle Europe, France and Spain.

Position 1
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will be a PhD majored in economics and has experience of teaching and research in economics. The candidate should work in GDUFS as a full-time job.

Duties:
Teaching International Economics, Intercultural business negotiation and Regional Economic Development and Policy for undergraduate student in English.
Carry out scientific research in economics, such as Labour economics, Economic history and Environmental economics.
Actively apply for research project funded by Chinese government, such as National Natural Science Fund (China)

Position 2
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will be a PhD majored in economics and has ideally 3-year experience of teaching and research in economics. The candidate should work in GDUFS as a full-time job.

Duties:
Teaching Behavioral economics for undergraduate student in English.
Carry out scientific research in economics.
Actively apply for research project funded by Chinese government, such as National Natural Science Fund (China).

Position 3
The ideal candidate will be a PhD majored in Public Economics and has some experience of teaching and research in economics. The candidate should work in GDUFS as a full-time job.

Duties:
Teaching English Skill on Public Economics(communication and literature reading skill)for undergraduate students in English.
Carry out scientific research in economics, such as Public Economics or any topic related in the field of Economics.
Actively apply for research project funded by Chinese government, such as National Natural Science Fund (China)
