Job Description

Duties

Appointees will (a) engage in teaching; (b) provide support to course planning and development, and (c)

contribute to scholarly work and academic administration.

Appointees may station at different campuses, and be required to take up assignments and work outside

Hong Kong occasionally.

Qualifications

Applicants should have (a) a master’s degree in related disciplines; (b) not less than two years’ post-

qualification teaching and/or industrial experience; for the discipline area of Chinese / Putonghua,

applicants should have attained at least Grade A in Level 2 in the Putonghua Shuiping Ceshi (PSC); (c)

fluency in English, and (d) good interpersonal skills.

Consideration will also be given to applicants with a doctoral degree but less experiences.

Remuneration and Conditions of Service

Salary offered will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Initial appointment will be made

on a two-year contract. Re-engagement thereafter is subject to mutual agreement.
