Main Responsibilities

• Deal with contract review requests, assist team to negotiate engagement letters and other contracts with client
• Update or simplify the standard contract templates according to the changes of PRC laws, regulations and policies
• Provide assistance in commercial legal cases
• Follow up the performance of key terms of the executed engagement letters, reduce the default risk of relevant projects
• Assist engagement teams in internal management issues, e.g. the project working papers management
• Assist to review and update the legal wordings in engagement team’s deliverables, e.g. disclaimers
• Assist in trainings relevant to legal knowledge and risk prevention
• Other issues in relation to legal risk management

Experience and Knowledge

• A Bachelor’s degree of law from a Law School of a PRC famous university or from a famous law university is required. A Master’s degree of law is preferred
• Minimum of 5 years experiences in legal practice
• Litigation experience is a plus
• Experiences in in-house legal function of the head office of a famous large group, or experiences in reputable law firm(s) is preferred
• Good knowledge of PRC Contract Law, Company Law and Securities Law. The one who is familiar with the capital market is preferred
• Good at summarizing key points from complex information and drafting relevant documents
• Strong communication skills
• Fluent English and Chinese (mandarin) language skills (read, spoken, written) are required
• Skilled use of Microsoft Office software
• Quick starter, spirit of team work, ability to adapt, dedicated, self-motivated and able to work independently and under pressure
