Responsibilities:

l Provide timely and efficient legal support to China entities and operational units in respect of a variety of legal topics (projects, corporate, daily commercial, compliance, dispute resolution, etc.).

l Maintain a close working relationship with assigned China entities and operational units, understanding key issues (legal and others) affecting the business, providing legal as well as tactical advice with regard to company’s business operation in China.

l Take important role in providing legal support to projects such as M&A projects, etc., and provide solid legal support to global projects under reasonable supervision.

l Identify legal or regulatory risks and challenges and present proactive and effective solutions.

l Communicate and work with external parties (regulators, external counsel, public authority etc.), as required to solve various legal issues.

l Closely collaborate and work with other departments in region and corporate functions in an effective way.

l Regularly monitor compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Requirements:

l Bachelor degree in Chinese law and admission to Chinese Bar; Master degree a plus.

l Good professional experience with multinational companies and / or reputable international / Chinese law firms.

l Solid legal knowledge and experience in major legal fields (corporate law, foreign investment, commercial law, etc.)

l Good business sense and interests to approach issues from both legal and business perspectives.

l Good interpersonal and communication skills, good adaptability and time-time management skills.

l Self-motivation, self-disciplined, strong team-working spirit.

l Good English writing and speaking skill.

l PC-based document production skills in Chinese and English language (Microsoft office).
