Job Description

Responsibilities: 

  • Review and assess all documentation and representations of designated disciplinary cases
  • Handle disciplinary cases and make recommendation on potential disciplinary actions and proposed sanctions
  • Make recommendation to conclude a disciplinary matter by resolution
  • Provide input for improvement of policies and procedures in relation to disciplinary proceedings
  • Help foster a healthy and positive working environment
  • Build and maintain working relationship with local, mainland and overseas regulators

 

Requirements:

  • Degree in Law (Second Upper Class or Above)
  • Hong Kong qualified solicitor or barrister with 7 – 9 years’ of PQE
  • Specialized in dispute resolution (e.g. public or commercial litigation, administrative or regulatory litigation, disciplinary proceedings, judicial review cases)
  • Experience in working in any financial regulators in Enforcement (Disciplinary) will be an advantage
  • Experience/knowledge in accounting/auditing and/or degree in accounting is an advantage, but not essential
  • Strong legal research and drafting skills
  • Excellent command of English and Chinese
  • Strong communication and analytical skills
