We are looking for

Legal Counsel, Office Shanghai (m/w/d)

who likes to relocate to our office in Shanghai and supports our Legal team.

What you’ll do:

• Provide legal advice to internal clients in the Asia region and - if necessary - to the group, in less complex legal issues arising out of the daily business operations in commercial law issues and - in exceptional cases - in minor corporate and labour law issues with minor impact for the group
• Work closely with various business units to resolve legal issues on a day to day basis

• Draft and/or review and negotiate contracts, general terms and conditions and other kinds of agreements and documents for the Asia region with legal impact to ensure legal compliance
• Advise, oversee and monitor litigation in the Asia region in commercial law matters
• Follow and comply with the established procedures and policies
• Research, analysis and interpretation of case law, court reports, proposed and existing statutory laws and regulations to ensure legal compliance in the daily work; report on important developments which may have impact on the company’s’ business operations
• Instruct and manage external lawyers in a time- and cost-wise efficient way

Here’s what you’ll need:

• Minimun 3 years’ experience
• Admitted as lawyer in Hong Kong, UK or United States
• Knowledge of Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, Singapore or Malaysia law
• Fluent English, knowledge in Mandarin are optional
