We are now looking for personnel to join us for undertaking this multi-billion HK dollar transformation project leading the MPF ecosystem to a new era. Successful candidates will be employed by the MPFA to work in the eMPF Platform Provisional Office (PO). Upon incorporation of the eMPF Platform Company, the employment will be transferred from the MPFA to the eMPF Platform Company.

Major Responsibilities

• Act as in-house counsel to provide legal advice and support for the company's business activities and initiatives;
• Draft and revise all legal documents and correspondence with a range of counterparties including contractors, subcontractors, industry participants, government bureaux and departments, end users;
• Monitor development in laws, regulations and compliance issues that would affect the company’s business activities and initiatives; and
• Advise on and assist in dispute prevention, litigation, arbitration and regulatory enforcement matters, and liaise with external counsel and other parties.

Requirements

• A solicitor qualified to practice in Hong Kong with 5 to 8 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in-house experience gained in the Fintech industry, financial institutions or public sector entities;
• Proactive, responsible, independent with strong commercial acumen and analytical thinking;
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills;
• Great attention to details, able to work underpressure and as member of a team;
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; and
• Keen and willing to work in a start-up style environment with all the flexibility that requires and level of change involved.
  

Candidates with more years of post-qualification experience will be considered for the post of Senior Legal Counsel.
