ABOUT THE ROLE

RWS Lebanon is looking for an experienced Translator for Legal & Finance to join our professional and supportive team of In-house Translators in our office in Kaslik.

 

You will be responsible for delivering translations of the highest quality and accuracy on time. You will also have the opportunity to act as a Lead Translator for one or several of our client accounts, where you will be coordinating translation projects, performing quality checks, and working with the worlds’ leading brands.

 

 

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

·      Translation from English into Arabic as well as Arabic into English.

·      Review of translations of other in-house and external Translators.

·      Understanding and following RWS’s linguistic processes and procedures.

·      Understanding and following the specific processes of each client.

·      Producing quality translations within given deadlines.

·      Managing terminology effectively.

·      Linguistic checking of Desktop Publishing output.

·      Acting as Lead Translator and planning linguistic aspects of one or several client accounts.

·      Coordinating translation projects between other in-house and external Translators.

·      Using translation tools and new technology, if necessary.

·      Linguistic testing of software, help, and websites, if necessary.

·      Proofreading of documents, if necessary.

 

 

YOUR PROFILE/REQUIREMENTS

·      Native Arabic speaker based in Lebanon.

·      Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Translation.

·      Minimum 2 years translation experience.

·      Experience with Legal and Financial content.

·      Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

·      Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.

·      Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

·      Willingness to use CAT-tools and new technology, if necessary.
