The Straumann Group develops, manufactures and supplies dental implants, instruments, CADCAM prosthetics and biomaterials for use in tooth replacement and restoration solutions or to prevent tooth loss.

• For Compliance Tasks (60%):
• To identify and quantify legal risks independently by reviewing compliance related documents and provide options or alternatives to appropriately balance the risk and business objectives. For more complex or significant matters, to work under the direction of a line manager or above;
• To collect and file above compliance related documents and materials, to maintain databases and files;
• To select compliance training topics and prepare training materials which are closely related to company business, including internal policies, anti-unfair competition law and anti-trust law or other regulatory matters, bribery cases study, etc. To assist Legal Counsel in making compliance training for local staff and third party distributors;
• To assist Legal Counsel in setting up and improve the compliance system of company.
• For Legal Tasks (40%):
• To draft and review contracts from departments independently;
• To conduct legal research and provide legal opinion, alternatives and solution for all departments of company when they encounter legal issues;
• To assist Legal Counsel in various M&A projects of company, including but not limited to risk analysis, contract review and administrative procedure etc.

• Postgraduate degree in law with over 4 years working experience in law firm or in-house;
• Able to identify issues and analyze legal risk and independently, and summarize information, issues, risks and solutions to line manager to understand the situation;
• With fluent oral and written English and good communication skill;
• Medical device company’s experience is preferred;
• Having Passed National Judicial Examination is preferred;
• With thorough knowledge of legal principles and practices and legal research techniques
• With good skill in Office software
• High motivation, sense of responsibility, self-discipline;
• Good communication skills;
• Being able to complete task under pressure and time restriction.
