Main Duties:

Reporting to CEO,

(a) to provide legal support to the organisation in facilitation of their performance of functions;

(b) to assist in handling all legal actions or proceedings involving the organization;

(c) to assist in reviewing related Ordinance, to conduct necessary research and where appropriate, to recommend and formulate legislative amendments.

Requirements:

(a) a recognized Law Degree from a Hong Kong university or equivalent;

(b) admitted as a solicitor or called as a barrister in Hong Kong;

(c) at least 8 years’ post-qualification experience, preferably gained from the Government and/or public bodies, in litigation, administrative law, bilingual legislative drafting or related fields;

(d) excellent language skills, highly proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese

(e) good understanding of developments of current affairs and issues of concern to the organisation; and

(f) proactive, analytical-minded, able to collaborate with others and work independently under pressure.
