Job description

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a legal translator at representative office of this prestigious law firm. This position incorporates all translation tasks taking place in office. The legal translator needs independently complete translation tasks in particular with regards to translation and legal documentations from English into Chinese or vice versa.

Who we are looking for

The successful candidate will be a highly motivated, independent and service oriented individual, a hardworking self-starter willing to work under pressure in delivering authentic, professional and accurate translation in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in English Literature, Legal English or other English related majors from reputable universities;
• At least 2-3 years of work experience as a translator; translation experience in a foreign law firm, or in the legal department of a foreign company is a plus;
• Strong written and verbal language skills in both Chinese and English, strong skills in translation of legal documents;
• Able to edit and format translation documents independently;
• Diligent and conscientious;
• A team player with good inter-personal communications skills
