Who are we?

We are seeking an experienced LiDAR System Validation Engineer to join our EyeC Lidar project team.

Mobileye’s EyeC LiDAR group develops innovative high-performance long-range LIDAR solutions for Autonomous Driving vehicle. The project involves cutting edge Silicon Photonics modules for FMCW LIDAR, Optics, HW, mechanics, signal processing ASICs, SW, FW and Algorithms.

What will you do?

In this role you will be part of the System Validation Group and will be leading the following themes:

• Perform detailed planning of complex validation activities, execute system level testing, environmental testing, EMC and product/customer-oriented testing and evaluation, generate and release detailed study/experiment reports.
• Conduct Prove Of Concept (POC), Verification and Validation (V&V) testing of Laser and Imaging systems.
• Build complex setups for testing, measurements and characterization of Laser and Imaging system and/or sub-modules.
• Analysis, Modeling, Testing and Evaluation of system prototypes.

Skills and Qualifications

• BSc of MSc in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Applied Physics or similar education in adjacent fields.
• Delivery oriented mindset, hands on, can do approach.
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in in optical systems development and validation.
• A self-starter with good networking ability, time management, stakeholder management and creative thinking skills
• Work closely with Product, System, Integration, algo, HW, SW and additional R&D groups.
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Curious, open-minded with the ability to see the big picture

Advantageous background

• Experience with development, testing, characterization, and evaluation of LIDAR systems.
• HO experience in development and operation of electro-optical system testing equipment. 
• Working knowledge in GNSS systems, Imaging and additional sensors/electro optical setups bring up.
