At Storyland in Shanghai we teach a western style curriculum focused on reading and writing for elementary students. We are not an ESL school. We focus on creative and critical thought and spend a lot of time improving our students reading habit through our innovative library program.

Job Description

1) Teach Reading and Writing Workshops
2) Coach students in our Library
3) Research and Development

Working Hours:
1) Flexible work hours depending on schedule with no more than 40 hours per week
2) On average 20 contact hours per week
3) Work week is Wednesday to Sunday

Requirements:
1) Satisfy all visa requirements
2) A passionate, caring personality
3) Good teamwork skills
4) Experience teaching children is a plus.
5) Candidates who can attend an in-person interview are preferred.

Wage and Benefits Package

1) 20,000 RMB per month before tax
2) 7 days paid vacation + 11 days Chinese National Holiday + Christmas Day Off

After one year: 1 month pay bonus
After two years: 1 month pay bonus + Re-signing bonus
