Scope of Duties:

• Prepare and compile materials for knowledge and practical training/examination/assessment in various formats including multi-media
• Design course syllabus, training methodologies, and assessment methods
• Deliver knowledge and practical training in classroom or at workplace or overseas
• Conduct knowledge examination and practical assessment
• Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness to ensure a high standard is maintained
• Liaise with the production departments or other group companies to identify their training needs
• Liaise and collaborate with the local educational institutions on course design and pre-employment training
• Work closely with concerned parties to ensure high levels of cooperation and communication
• Act as mentor for trainees under various training scheme
• Undertake other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Higher Diploma in Engineering or equivalent
• A valid HKAR-66 Cat B Licence endorsed with appropriate aircraft and engine type ratings
• Minimum of 5 years of aircraft maintenance experience, of which at least 3 years in a supervisory capacity involving in giving instructions to and coaching technical staff
• Initiative and well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work effectively as a team, as well as the ability to work independently
• Ability to use a wide range of PC software effectively including MS Office. Experience and interest in using multi-media software is preferred
• Excellent command of English and Chinese, both spoken and written
• Candidates with less experience will be considered as Training Officer / Assistant Training Officer
