Licensing Engineer (Technical Specification ) China

Job Description

• Provide licensing and regulatory expertise to China organizations to facilitate development of their Technical Specifications and other regulatory framework
• Work with Westinghouse experts in the US to respond to questions, review documents, etc.
• Provide consulting service, which would offer in-depth and comprehensive consulting, technical support on the Technical Specification background and philosophy behind the format, content and rules of usage, as applied to the Westinghouse-designed nuclear steam supply system (NSSS) plants that are operating in the US

Minimum Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in engineering discipline, or equivalent is required
• A minimum of 10+ years of Licensing experience is highly desirable
• Understanding of Regulatory/Nuclear Regulatory Commission regulations, methods and processes related to Technical Specifications, general design criteria, etc.
• Experience in the following licensing and regulatory areas is highly desirable:
• Technical Specifications requirements, bases, and related documents
• Demonstrated ability to work with the Chinese in supporting their objectives
• Understanding of general nuclear industry guidance documents; ASME, ANSI, ACI, INPO, NEI, etc.
• Demonstrated ability with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, etc)
• Must be a US Citizen

• Beijing, China-6 months starting in August 2019
