The Opportunity

 

The Software Quality Analyst will be a part of the multi-national team that owns end to end development from concept to feature implementation, testing and documentation. They will work to ensure we are implementing features that meets user needs and expectations: design, review and contribute on test cases, scenarios and QA procedures of Licensing of all Bentley Systems products and services.

 

Experience level

• We have a team of Quality Analysts that will get you up to speed if you are at the entry level
• We would like to learn from your experience if you have worked in the field for awhile

Please note if you are employed full time salary for this position ranges from 1600 EUR gross (before taxes) and will reflect your experience level.

 

Responsibilities

• Understand and analyze product requirements, communicate with product management
• Develop test design of user scenarios, test cases and checklists
• Prepare test environments
• Execute manual functional testing
• Detect, resolve, document and report bugs and errors encountered
• Collect comprehensive and relevant data for problem investigation
• Strive for excellence constantly to deliver quality product and test faster thought the process
• Work closely with Development teams to convert manual test plans into automated tests.

 

Our perfect candidate has:

• Good communication skills in English both written and verbal

• Basic knowledge of Quality Assurance theory: principles, methodologies and techniques
• Natural curiosity about how things work and how to break them.
• Analytical mindset, ability to solve complex logical puzzles
• Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
• Ability to work outside of testing principals i.e. able to create test cases and plans without complete requirements or acceptance criteria
• Familiar with bug tracking process and tools
• Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment with minimal supervision

 

Tools that you will learn while working with us:

• Databases
• Modern development lifecycle methodologies (AGILE, DevOps)
• Virtual Environments such as Citrix XenApp, Microsoft Hyper-V, Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Virtual Desktop
• Different OS, including Windows, Windows Server, Linux
• Microsoft Azure
• Scripting and other development experience in automating testing environments.
