• Main responsiblerole for the QMP work within the Industrialization of Global Sourcing and LocalContent Projects overall in the Asian market.
  
• Ensure theimplementation of BMW Q-standards by tier 1 supplier and if needed to n-tiersuppliers, support quality topics in the clover leaf.
  
• Ensure qualityrelated industrialization process and ensure the product/process quality ofsupplied parts.
  
• Support BBA andBMW AG Purchasing-, Development-, Quality- and Logistic Department on allGlobal Sourcing and Local Content activities related to parts quality, supplierqual-ity/quantity management issues.
  
• Responsible for the quality within supply chain andcontinuous parts supply in defined quality and volume in worldwide BMW/BBAproduction plants.

Main Requirements andResponsibilities:

• Coordination andsupervision of supplier qualification activities, mainly for criticalcompo-nents
  
• Evaluation ofsupplier tools in the early phase, ensure the delivery of critical components
  
• Supplier RiskAssessment with the focus on product and process quality, quality manage-mentsystem and manufacturing technologies for critical components
  
• Responsible forPEP realization of Purchase Parts all over Asia (Process Series, ramp up curveand ISIR-Procedure, PPAP etc.) based on BMW corporate MPM processes, mainlycritical components are relevant
  
• Ensure QMPstandards for Global Sourcing and Local Content Projects according to BMWQuality Processes and requirements (e.g. RGA, LPKM, M-Portal…), including thesteering of series tooling, manufacturing equipment etc., mainly for criticalcomponents
  
• Follow up on allopen items throughout the entire process chain to minimize risk and to maximizeBMW success, critical component related
  
• Manageescalation process for the series deviations of supplier quality performance
  
• Special problem solving (PLT), Task Force related topics
