Linguistic Services Manager

About the role: 

As our new Linguistic Services Manager, you will work together with your colleagues, Vendor Managers, and production teams in Brno and around the world to support our interesting and famous clients from different industries. Your tasks will be focused on language quality management as well as linguistic processes and solutions to ensure our work is in line with the needs and expectations of our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Provide linguistic services to the production team, our suppliers and the client
• Act as first point of contact for linguistic and language quality-related topics for internal and external stakeholders
• Under the general supervision of your direct manager, define and implement quality strategies and linguistic solutions for the assigned accounts to ensure the client’s requirements are met
• Create and maintain linguistic assets as well as vendor-facing documentation
• Support recruitment, onboarding and training of new linguists
• Monitor vendor performance against KPIs, analyze linguistic quality data, identify trends, perform Root Cause Analyses and define CAPAs
• Process and respond to linguistic quality escalations
• Prepare and present quality-related information in PowerPoint in meetings with the client

Requirements: 

• Linguistic education (or equivalent working experience) is a must
• 2 years working experience (ideally in a customer/client-facing role or as a translator)
• Perfect command of spoken and written English
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to produce clear messaging towards internal and external stakeholders at different levels
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Very good coordination, prioritization and time-management skills to work in a fast-paced environment with competing work demands
• Strong sense of initiative and ownership with a proactive approach to effectively identify and resolve issues
• Focus on quality and service delivery
