Who are we?
Intel Vision Technology Group (VTG), Intel’s Computer Vision Center of Excellence, is looking for an experienced Linux Kernel and Drivers Engineer to join our Autonomous Mobile Robotics (AMR) R&D SW team.
Our R&D team is focused on developing and introducing state-of-the-art AMR 3D cameras that set the stage for groundbreaking innovations. Our goal is to help our customers to power up and boost industrial and operational robotics automation by providing them a smarter depth camera with the capability to see, analyze and make independent decisions in real time.
As a SW team, we’ve taken over the challenge to bring up the full software stack of VTG’s AMR platform. Our platform includes the 3D camera’s SDK, applications, firmware, drivers, edge and cloud services, which really means working on a new and exciting robotics field with multiple SW engineering disciplines and growth opportunities.
What will you do?
We’re looking for a Linux Kernel and Drivers professional to join our AMR Camera team that develops innovative firmware, drivers and applications.
We build our cameras from scratch, and hence you will enjoy the opportunity to work closely with our FW, AMR platform and System teams.
You will be challenged with development of new projects to promote the Devices to new markets, as well as addressing issues and enhancing features in vanilla Linux kernel.
