Job Description

Driving resolution to customer issues through use of debug skills and collaboration with other experts
Expert on enabling tools and collateral to help make customers' work easier and faster, and make your own work more impactful at scale
Voice customer requirements and preferences through advocacy within Intel, into various teams that develop, validate, and deploy products
Work collaboratively with key stakeholders to deliver aligned project/program deliverables
Other tasks may include: training facilitators, writing documentation, developing new product requirements or specifications, manage reports and indicators, running product experiments and pilots, issue database management.
Travel for customer visits, when, and as needed

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a directly related discipline ("Cedula Profesional" may be required) and 3+ years' direct experience in one, or more of the following:

  • Hardware and Software development, validation and debugging experience
  • Experience supporting customers during development in the product life cycle
  • Project and bug-tracking database software
  • Advanced English (written and spoken)



Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Software Development or a directly related discipline and 2+ years' experience as outlined above
  • Software development in C/C++ on Linux
  • Manageability software/firmware, BIOS, or driver code development
  • Experience in software design/architecture.
  • Experience with driver development.
  • Reading and interpreting or developing code in Linux OS development environments
  • Experience with modern processors and system architecture including assembly level programming.
  • Experience with Intel silicon and platform validation concepts and methodologies.

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
