Architect industry leading software features and capabilities for Interconnect Technologies for Intel GPUs. Working closely with Hardware and Platform Architects, the candidate will drive software/firmware architecture and build prototypes as needed for new features and technology for next-generation Intel GPUs. Responsible for architecting multiple aspects of graphics kernel mode driver and firmware components.

Candidate responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Desire to work across HW/SW boundaries to co-design solutions to address challenges presented by evolving workloads like AI and influence product roadmap.

• Drive vision for industry leading features for AI and HPC workloads with low latency and high throughput solutions.

• Create and document Architecture requirements and solutions along with white papers, blogs and other publishing material.

• Define system level architecture and interfaces with SW and HW architects for scalability.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's degree with 10-15 years' experience, or a Master's degree with 10-12 years' experience or PhD with 4-5 years' experience in areas described below

• Experience in working from top level customer applications to middleware like MPI/OFI(or equivalent) and kernel mode components

• Experience in Omni-Path or similar low latency/high throughput technologies

• Demonstrated experience in hardware/software interfaces for scalability

• Strong background in Cloud Computing and Distributed Software design and development.

• Experience in Exascale pathfinding with focus on performance, scalability and system architecture

• Deep understanding of operating systems, containers, computer networks, and high-performance applications

• Experience in Supercomputing research communities focusing on parallel computing, data analytics, or machine learning.

• Good understanding of GPU technologies and background in enabling HPC workloads
