液体项目工程师 - Liquid Project Engineer

Key Duties

• General

• Provide mechanical and process engineering on projects according to the tender/order/specification including Plant Technical Documentation, Equipment Specification, Procurement, Workshop Inspection [FAT], Commissioning, Preparation of Instruction Manuals and Training of Operational / Maintenance Personnel.

• Provide process engineering troubleshooting and technical problem solving.

• Liaise with clients or clients' representatives in the managing of the projects and tasks as required.

• Apply mature engineering knowledge with scope for individual accomplishment and coordination of difficult and responsible engineering assignments.

• Deal with problems for which it is necessary to modify established guides and devise new approaches.

• Make some original contribution and/or apply new approaches and techniques to design or development of equipment or specific aspects of process plants and solutions.

• Assist in the ongoing development of internal engineering systems.

• Work cooperatively with the team of engineers in department in the preparation of quotations, and submit and present these to the customers, when required.

• Work cooperatively with technical staff from other department within the Company.

• Work cooperatively with the company administrative staff.
  

• Specific Capabilities

• Read and understand Liquid Processing P&ID’s.

• Layout definition & design

• Equipment calculation: Pumps, Modulating valves, Heat Exchanger needs, Size diameter of installations, Utilities needs, Pressure losses, Instrumentation selection,

• Generate call for tenders for equipment purchase.

• Generate packing lists & project documentation.

• Develop the Assembly specification and call for tender for on-site assembly.

• Generate list of Installation material and estimation.

• Generation of on-site assembly schedule.

• On-site support to the commissioning team.

• Administration

• Maintain appropriate records including comprehensive call reports.

• Keep up to date on all new products, product changes and general processing trends.

• Prepare weekly timesheets and project reports through SAP system.

• Assist in other parts of the Company's business as required to ensure the overall effectiveness of the Company.

Individual Specification:

• Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Dairy / Food engineering or other relevant disciplines are highly desirable

• Business Experience/Personal Strengths

• Background experience and process knowledge in the dairy or food industries would also be highly desirable, as would strong contacts in these industries which would arise from this exposure.

• Demonstrate problem solving capabilities

• A record of successful project engineering with at least 2 to 5 year experience in the industry.

• Excellent oral, written and presentation skills in English would be desirable.

• This role may from time to time require the engineer to work on projects alone.
