Eaton’s Corporate Division is seeking a Litigation Specialist to join our team. This position will be based in Beachwood, OH. During the time being, this position offers a flexible working solution. Position Overview: The primary function of this position is to provide specialized support to the litigation practice group of the Law Department. Responsibilities include applying knowledge of legal concepts and procedures and experience to a wide variety of litigation matters, creating dashboards using business intelligence tools and improving our analytic capabilities, driving project management for significant initiatives and assisting in-house legal counsel. This position also supports and improves Law Department initiatives and will play a critical role in helping the team analyze and use data to drive Eaton's legal strategies and programs. It’s where bold, bright professionals like you can reach your full potential—and where you can help us reach ours Essential Functions: Assist with management of outside counsel and coordination of consultants, experts, and witnesses Manage various aspects of lawsuits, including, among other things, budgets, files, and documents Develop and continuously improve data analytics as well as measure and assess correlations and provide other insights into diverse datasets of other operational and functional data Help develop and monitor data-driven key performance indicators for Eaton’s legal performance Develop visual ongoing/regular and ad-hoc reports with metrics, trends, correlations and other insights that clearly communicate observations and conclusions that will drive program improvements, business decisions and other actions Develop and maintain operational dashboards and other visualization tools that provide the legal team and business leaders with line-of-sight on data, trends and other information critical to their needs Work closely with the legal team to stay abreast and aligned on goals, significant matters, relevant developments and other relevant information When we embrace the different ideas, perspectives and backgrounds that make each of us unique, we- as individuals and as a company – are stronger. Qualifications Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution. Minimum of 2 year of experience in data analytics or visualization. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship. No relocation benefit will be provided. All candidates must reside within a 50 mile radius of Beachwood, OH to be considered. Preferred Qualifications: Proficiency in handling legal matters. Exhibit knowledge and understanding of legal principles Knowledge of legal principles necessary for drafting legal related documents such as memos, interrogatories, responses to government requests for information and hold orders Experience in executing on complex projects involving (1) data quality assurance/validation, (2) analysis of complex, multiple datasets and (3) translating them into visual, informative reports for leaders, teams and other stakeholders Demonstrated increasing responsibility and personal growth in data analytics Visual analytics using enterprise tools: Tableau, PowerBI or other visualization tools Advanced MS Office Suite: Excel (including pivot tables, macros, PowerPivot, and other advanced functions), PowerPoint, Word, Outlook Knowledge of data analytics and visualization best practices We make what matters work.
