Conceirge / Lobby Ambassador

As a Concierge / Lobby Ambassador you will hold accountability for instilling consistency of resort and Fairmont standards as well as generating and promoting ideas to enhance the Five Star experience.

What you will be doing:

• Approach all encounters with guests, employees and members in a professional and personalized manner
• Encourage a safe and efficient resort operations
• Be able to perform a variety of guest requests and think creatively when called upon in order to establish a memorable experience for every guest and member
• Ability to answer all general inquiries on the resort and other entertainment, services and tours in the surrounding areas
• Serve as general guest information source
• Maintain database of guest preferences, habits and special dates
• Ensure the security of guest luggage, keys, golf bags etc
• Be able to give directions and know how to read maps, timetables etc

Your experience and skills include:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Highly responsible & reliable
• Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times 
• Positive attitude and supportive, team-based approach towards the attainment of the hotel's short and long term goals

Your team and working environment:

• Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Fairmont Standards as well as being available to work flexible shifts which would include but is not limited to: mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends and holidays
• Must be eligible to work in the UK
