The task of IKEA Components within IKEA is to pursue the development of future unique and customer-friendly solutions within fittings and components to the IKEA range. We create substantial cost and quality benefits for IKEA in our development and supply of raw materials, components and fittings. IKEA Components is part of the Inter IKEA group and shares the IKEA vision and values. Our business is global and employs 1500 people based in Sweden, Slovakia and China. Through co-operation with IKEA Purchasing and Logistic areas, we are also represented at several other sites around the world.

• Responsible for local solutions supporting to secure site operations smoothly and in a good environment, not limited local solutions for production and warehouse, but also for safety& security and other functions.
• Maintain local solutions data and responsible data security.
• Responsible for the documentation of local solutions, maintenance plan and execution.
• Responsible for local solutions upgrade and change.
• Manage potential new local solution requirements and development to support site growth.
• Participate in meetings containing need of IT support/technician.
• Take ownership of client’s hardware maintenance.

KNOWLEDGE:

• Knowledge of CCTV, security access system and electricity fence.
• Knowledge of client hardware, software, network and servers.
• Knowledge in relevant tools and how to use them in an appropriate way according to working routines.
• Education skills.
• Good in writing and speaking English.
