The LOPM will be based in Chengdu and representing Red Bull in the On Premise market of West China. He/she will be the owner of the Red Bull On Premise business in multiple cities which have a universe with over thousands of accounts (mainly in Sichuan and Chongqing). Internally the LOPM will have the ownership of a volume target and allocated budget to develop his/her territory. He/she needs to be ambitious and able to deliver actionable insights into our business and forecast sales for the current year and the next 5 years. Externally, the LOPM should be familiar with distributors in his/her markets, as well as have Key Account management experience for customers like Space Group, MUSE, etc. The LOPM needs to live the Red Bull On Premise culture well, act as a brand ambassador to deliver the Red Bull brand image in the nightlife environment. He/she will be leading On Premise marketing events and 3rd party activities, creating innovative activations for promotion, and responsible for placing and tracking brand POS in outlets. Long term, the LOPM will be the people manager and develop a BU approach in the West and grow to lead their own team.

  • Communication

    On premise Know-how and Red Bull culture transfer to our customers.

    Consistent teamwork with other teammates and communication with his/her National On Premise Manager.

    Develop relative industry relationships (DJ`s, Promoters, Endemic Magazines, etc.) that results in business building initiatives.

  • Event Activation

    Ensure availability and premium High 5 execution around 3rd party and Red Bull events.

    Negotiate and execute, pro-actively search out opportunities to implement creative elements that drive Red Bull’s brand image.

    Attendance on key 3rd party and Red Bull events.

    Organize authorized incentives for customers, understanding the profitability of all invitations.

  • Territory Management

    Grow & protect On Premise accounts in the related region. Continuous analysis of the territory and account specific business to find opportunities and drive distribution.

    Correct positioning of the Red Bull brand and the Red Bull product portfolio in the territory.

    Set volume goals with accounts that align with Red Bull KPI’s.

    Drive cooperation with the local Distributor’s Sales Force in order to reach adequate distribution.

    Routinely perform Staff Education/Energizers to ensure brand understanding, perfect serve, and encourage optimum pricing.

  • Administration

    Consistent optimization of all On Premise Tools (OP Knowledge Base, Infonet, CRM, Warehouse, POS …).

    Negotiate and implement commercial partnership agreements. Offset funds from financial contribution to added value.

    Fulfillment of report deadlines.

    Management of the local on-premise Budget. Bottom up planning and tracking of all marketing tools.

  • Market research

    Observation and reporting of competitor activities.

    Actively searching out new opportunities for the Business in the region.

    Identification of EPC outlets.

  • On Premise Marketing

    Putting the On Premise marketing strategy into practice.

    Maintain and utilize tools appropriately (Point of sale materials) to drive vertical growth. Ensure that all marketing tools are staged in the right accounts according to international On Premise guidelines.

    Engage and differentiate the brand through innovative support following the On Premise vision of bringing added value to our customers.

  • Key Priorities

    Ensure all international and national On Premise guidelines are adhered to as well as high execution standards to reach a vertical growth in customers.

    Continuously track results accordingly.


Your experience includes:

(proven performance in)

  • 2-years sales/marketing work experience in On Premise industry, experience from premium spirits company (E.g. Penrod Richard and MHD) and/or imported beer company (Heineken and Budweiser) is preferred.

  • Network, knowledge, and contacts in relevant On Premise industry is a necessary requirement.

  • University degree preferred

  • Fluency in English (verbal & written) and local language
