About The Role:

Leads the technical part of localization projects, performs and coordinates the engineering work, coordinates the deliveries from the suppliers. Leads project engineers.

 

Responsibilities:

• Cooperates with the Project Manager on the technical preparation of the project, its execution and final evaluation.                   
• Coordinates and performs project engineering tasks. 
• Prepare daily projects for handoff and/or client delivery.
• Allocate jobs to appropriate resources and maintain communication with them during project lifecycle.
• Work with supply chain for resource related escalations or needs.
• Work with PMs to track project status and potential risks for delivery delay.
• Assures the engineering work is being performed correctly, according to the project instructions, per deadlines and quality requirements.                   
• Analyses and tracks project tasks and deliverables.                   
• Coordinates the deliveries from the suppliers and monitors their status.
• Participates in the implementation of new tools, their testing and evaluation.
• Communicates with project team, support departments, partners and suppliers under the supervision of Project Manager or Localization Lead/ Localization Lead Senior.
• Modify existing documentation or create small articles.
• Performs final quality checks before delivery to the client.

 

Requirements:

• Previous working experience as Localization Engineer / Translator of 2 years is preferred.                    
• English: Advance.           
• Advanced knowledge of major operating environments.                   
• Advanced knowledge of file formats and file management.                   
• Advanced computer applications user.
• Advance knowledge of MS Excel (Macros, Pivot Table).                   
• Knowledge of localization tools and processes.                   
• Basic programming skills (scripts) is an advantage.
